You’ve probably seen those ads on TV that claim that everyone’s a celebrity on a Celebrity cruise. I don’t know about the extent of that claim, but it’s certainly a catchy marketing line! Alaska is one of the places that most big lines go to, and a number of smaller higher-end ones as well. Celebrity Alaska cruises, of course, fall into the former category, but does that mean it’s a McCruise?
Well, yes and no. Celebrity cruises to Alaska use large ships, certainly, but they’re not the country-sized ones you might see sailing in and around the Caribbean, usually ending with … of the seas. Which means, that for many people, these ships strike a happy medium between small, isolated and personalized, and amenity-loaded, luxurious and extensive.
Most of the 2009 Celebrity Alaska cruises are a 7-night affair, and most start in Seattle or Vancouver, and head up to Ketchikan, the Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point, and back. There is an Inside Passage cruise like with every other line, that hugs the coastline and goes to the places mentioned above and Sitka as well, where the remnants of Russia can still be seen.
Celebrity, like other lines, is offered heavily discounted pricing thanks to the recession, and there are cruises starting at less than $500. That is truly an unbelievable price as far as 7-night cruises go! In my opinion, Celebrity doesn’t offer some of the more unique excursions, and their ships aren’t as new or as charming as other lines, but the price definitely makes for a strong argument.

I’m wondering now if we can talk about your sites statistics – search volume, etc, I’m trying to build a site having to do with this topic, and after coming across this I definitely need a hand.
